Ask Pinstripe Alley: Yankees mailbag questions request
Briefly

The Yankees had themselves a week, getting challenged by the Athletics and split that series before winning two out of three against the NL Central leaders in Milwaukee. That second series in particular stood out because it marked the first sighting of the Yankee offense in a while - they arrived with six runs in their extra-inning loss, and then erupted for 15 runs in each of their next two games.
Three games are hardly the biggest sample size to draw from, but its definitely encouraging that the Yanks got themselves back to their Bomber roots. Many of the culprits from the slump got in on the homer parade, but on the flip side there were some less than stellar performances from the rotation.
