The news comes as a bit of a surprise for a number of reasons. For starters, the Rangers don't play again for another couple of nights with a back-to-back kicking off at the Garden on Friday Night. On top of that, it doesn't appear that anyone got hurt in the game against the Sharks and even if they were thinking about taking Nick Bonino (or anyone) back out of the lineup, Tyler Pitlick has returned from injury and by all assumptions, should be good to go as needed.
