Whether it's all of the 40-point games, the numerous clutch shots, the multiple broken records, or the countless memories he provided, Brunson really did it all in what will likely be remembered as one of both the Knicks' and Brunson's most memorable seasons.
Some who cover the league believed that Brunson and the Knicks were a solid team but were headed for a plateau. Many Knicks fans and others inside the organization, however, believed things were headed in the right direction, hoping Brunson would transition into true superstardom.
While he wasn't necessarily perfect, the young point guard was averaging 24.6PPG and 5.7APG, quickly dispelling doubts about his ability to excel against top Eastern Conference teams as the best player on the court.
