If Ejiro Evero is released from his contract with the Panthers, he could be another option for the Giants to bring in. The Giants wanted to meet with Evero, but the Panthers blocked what would have been a lateral move.
"The way we're built, we can be 4-3 or 3-4," Schoen said. "We drafted that way, where we're not pigeon-holed into one certain scheme. Where the personnel is on defense right now, whether it's 4-3 or 3-4, I think we could go out and play."
