Yesterday alone, I had friends, colleagues, and family push things to my phone, questioning my identity as a juror. I don't think at this point I can be fair and unbiased. I definitely have concerns now after my friends, family, and work colleagues were able to link me to the trial through news reports that included certain biographical information.
We just lost what probably would've been a very good juror for this case and the first thing she was intimidated by the press. It's become a problem.
We did discover an article that a person with the same name had been arrested in Westchester for tearing down political advertisements.
Additionally, the juror's wife was previously accused or involved in a 'corruption inquiry'.
