Marina Police Department reported a suspected mountain lion sighting after images circulated online, warning residents of the importance of safety regarding wild animals.
The department emphasized, “If anyone does in fact see a wild animal, do not approach it, or attempt to capture it. Feral animals are unpredictable and harmful.”
Residents expressed concern and shared their own potential encounters with the creature, highlighting the balance between human habitation and wildlife.
Some residents sympathized with the wild animals, stating, "I feel bad for the wild animals that so much of their space has been taken over by us humans."
