Daniel Mihai Popescu stalked and stabbed his pregnant ex-girlfriend after she dropped her children off at school, only stopping the assault when confronted by a member of the public.
Popescu received a 20-year and four-month extended sentence, including 17 years and four months in jail and an additional three years on licence due to the seriousness of the crime and lack of true remorse.
