Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico is conscious and improving after a second surgery following an assassination attempt. All the limitations of the serious injury are being considered.
The lone gunman shot Mr. Fico multiple times in Handlova, with one wound posing the greatest risk to his health. He remains in the hospital for further treatment.
