The shooting occurred just after 2 a.m. at the intersection of Easton Avenue and Hamilton Street in New Brunswick, NJ following an apparent altercation.
Both victims of the shooting were 'affiliated' with Rutgers University.
Eyewitnesses claim the unidentified victim provoked the suspect to shoot before the suspect fired multiple shots and fled.
Police are seeking more information as descriptions of the perpetrator(s) are limited at this time.
