Retired Deputy NYPD Commissioner Joseph Reznick, 72, apprehended two teens with pills trespassing his yard at gunpoint in Bellerose, Queens.
Neighbors observed five teens, some in ski masks, acting suspiciously before Reznick caught two trespassers; three others were apprehended by the police.
"He's got cameras all over the place," said a neighbor, highlighting Reznick's vigilance in using security measures to aid police in apprehending suspects.
One of the kids claimed they were fleeing after someone pulled a knife on them, illustrating potential dangers and challenges faced by teens in the area.
