Niall Boylan reveals he was homeless for two years: 'two good Samaritans let me have a room in their house a few days a week'
Briefly

I slept in the back of my car in the car park of the radio station many nights, and then two good Samaritans let me have a room in their house for a few days a week for a few months.
I had a good job, and it paid well, but I wasn't on an RTÉ salary or close to it, and without going into much detail, my budget was stretched beyond its means.
Even now, I'm sure the staff I work with have no idea when they came in every morning and wondered why my car was still there and that I was under a duvet on the back seat. I was so depressed at the time, but I came through it, and I'm out the other end.
