A man was found shot to death Monday morning in East Oakland. Police are currently trying to identify the victim and find the shooter.
Officers discovered the victim at the intersection of 74th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard after they were alerted by a gunshot detection system.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and as of now, no arrests have been made, and no suspect information is available.
Authorities are investigating the motive behind the shooting and are urging anyone with information to contact the police department.
