A Fort Lauderdale man, David Knezevich, was charged with kidnapping his estranged wife in Spain, containing intercontinental elements and a pending investigation for murder.
Knezevich faces up to life in prison for the kidnapping charge, but no charges have been brought yet in the suspected murder of his wife. Spain's National Police and FBI continue investigations.
Despite no body found and circumstantial evidence, Knezevich was denied bond due to the judge's concern about his ability to flee based on his wealth and connections abroad.
