Gov. Hochul ordered elevated security measures following pro-ISIS threats ahead of the India-Pakistan match at the Cricket World Cup in NYC. Nearly two million people applied for tickets.
Hochul mentioned coordinating with the New York State Police Counter Terrorism Unit and directing the State Police to implement increased law enforcement presence, advanced surveillance, and thorough screening processes.
