The disgraced movie mogul held two books on his way out: ‘The Woman’ by Kristin Hannah, about a woman joining the Army Nurse Corps during the Vietnam War, and ‘Live by Night’ by Dennis Lehane, detailing a mobster's rise during Prohibition.
Weinstein, now 72, was hospitalized after being transferred from Rikers Island, recovering while facing new charges tied to previously uncharged crimes as he awaits retrial.
In light of the new accusations and an overturned conviction, Weinstein is set to face trial on Nov. 12, with prosecutors looking to integrate these new charges into his existing case.
