Gary Farro, the third witness in Donald Trump's criminal trial, detailed his involvement in the hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels by Michael Cohen in 2016.
The $130,000 hush money payment was wired to Keith Davidson, Daniels' lawyer, by Cohen, who funded it from his home-equity line of credit at First Republic Bank before the 2016 election.
Farro mentioned in his testimony that Cohen was eager and urgent to set up a limited liability company and specified that the checks should not have addresses on them.
An email provided by Michael Avenatti after the payment became public showed confirmation from Mr. Farro's assistant about the transfer of funds into Cohen's account, using his Trump Organization email address.
