Okaloosa County Sheriff fired Deputy Eddie Duran for fatally shooting Senior Airman Roger Fortson, when Fortson was unarmed and non-threatening.
The investigation found Mr. Fortson made no hostile moves, Deputy waited outside the door, didn't identify himself properly, and fired despite no immediate threat.
