A lawyer for Mr. Adams said the agents came for the mayor's phone, suggesting they would have voluntarily turned it in, highlighting their frustration with the spectacle created by the investigation.
Despite the controversy surrounding him, Mayor Adams maintains his innocence and believes that standing his ground for New Yorkers was the right choice, reflecting his commitment to the city.
