Guy Rivera, 34, was charged with first and second-degree murder, attempted murder, and weapons possession for shooting cop Jonathan Diller during a routine traffic stop.
NYPD PBA President highlighted Diller as a great family man and expressed the unity of the police force against the cop killer.
Diller's widow described him as a hero both in life and death, speaking at his emotional funeral, leaving behind a young son.
Rivera and his accomplice were known to have extensive criminal histories, including multiple prior arrests, leading to suspicions of a planned heist.
