Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley was caught on police bodycam footage berating a Webster police officer who tried to pull her over for speeding in her hometown.
Doorley has apologized for her behavior, citing work stress, but has not expressed intentions of resigning, stating she was elected to serve the community and will continue to do so.
Rochester City Council members and Governor Kathy Hochul have raised concerns about Doorley's behavior, with the Governor referring her to the state Commission on Prosecutorial Conduct for undermining accountability.
