Jeremiah Davenport, a graduate senior guard for the University of Arkansas' Razorbacks, was arrested in Washington Heights after police found a loaded gun in a car during a stop. Another man in the car was initially arrested but later released.
Davenport was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, among other charges. The BMW X5 he was in had tinted windows, and police saw marijuana smoke. Davenport appeared in court and was released on his own recognizance.
