A 38-year-old Hayward man was arrested for fatally shooting another man, whose body was found days later. Witnesses did not immediately call 911 despite suspecting the victim had died.
The suspect fled from police, barricaded himself in a garage, and was later apprehended. The victim's body was discovered near the scene concealed with dirt after being deceased for days.
