The New York Attorney General's Office has opened an investigation into the death of Christian Emile, a man shot by police in East Flatbush on May 12 at around 1:18 a.m.
By law, the A.G.'s Office of Special Investigations assesses every incident where a police officer or a peace officer may have caused a person's death, as in the case of Mr. Emile.
