The Sharks, who have never drafted first overall in franchise history, have the best odds to win Tuesday night's NHL lottery and a chance to select Boston University star Macklin Celebrini.
Celebrini, 17, had 32 goals and 64 points in 38 games, won the Hobey Baker Award, was Hockey East's player and rookie of the year, and topped Canada's scoring at the world junior championships.
