Briefly

Less than six months after hitting the market for the first time in more than 39 years, the late Stephen Sondheim's 9-plus-acre Roxbury, Connecticut home has a new owner. The property, listed by Klemm Real Estate, was able to secure a buyer within 12 days of listing.
The historic residence, built circa 1792, features 10 rooms including three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, two fireplaces, a sunroom, cathedral-ceilinged living room, dining room, and a library. Sondheim had owned and meticulously restored the property during his ownership.
Sondheim's Manhattan townhouse in Turtle Bay, listed for $7 million and boasting seven bedrooms and 5,690 square feet, also sold for its asking price. He acquired the townhouse following the success of his early Broadway hits.
