Why I Love Doing Homework (Even If My Kids Hate It)

Homework has fallen out of favor with a new generation of parents and teachers.
Each Monday evening this past school year, my older son and I would drag out our battered Hebrew-English dictionary, look up words we didn't know, then begin translating the sentences assigned.
As challenging as homework is for both children and parents, it can also be a bonding experience and a way for parents to actively participate in their child's education.
