My friend's nanny is good friends with my own nanny. Over the years, my nanny has told me about instances when my friend has mistreated nannies she has hired withholding food, refusing payment for extra work and reneging on benefits she agreed to. This friend displays nothing but lovely behavior toward me and our other friends, but knowing how she treats her nannies is increasingly disturbing me, to the point where I don't think I can be friends with her and not say anything about what I know.
