"I wanted to personally invite each and every one of you, honorable council members and city officials and staff of this city, to our first-ever Atascadero Pride festival," said Nadia Levine.
"Declaring June as Pride Month in this city would make me as a person feel so much safer, because I felt like I was in danger," shared Levine's 14-year-old daughter.
