Thailand is on track to become the first Southeast Asian country to legalize marriage equality after the kingdom's Senate approved a marriage equality bill on Tuesday.
Supporters called the passage a 'monumental step forward for LGBTQ+ rights,' CNN reports. Only four senators opposed the bill with 130 supporting it.
