Woman Abroad Gets a Haircut, Realizes There's Been a 'Miscommunication'

"I showed the woman the photos of what I wanted. Then, using hand gestures, my limited German, and Google Translate, I think she took my explanation of short and choppy literally," Cortino explained to Newsweek.
"After a few snips, she confirmed that I was happy. There was no going back at that point, so I smiled and left my hair in her capable hands. If anything, hair will always grow back," she added.
"It's always an adventure learning a new language and practicing that skill on something like a haircut. Thankfully, hair grows," Cortino captioned her video with a lighthearted tone.
"It's a haircut I never would have gotten myself, but I'm rocking it," she said.
