Staples Jr Singers - 'Searching'
Briefly

Back in the 1970s, around five years after they started performing, a group of young siblings from Aberdeen, Mississippi, known as the Staples Jr Singers released their first album, When Do We Get Paid. After a fifty-year break from recording, they recorded their second album, Searching, in October 2023.
Three of the Browns, brothers Edward and R.C. and sister Annie Brown Caldwell, are still alive and performing, with the group experiencing a revival post the 2022 re-issue of their debut record, leading to international tours including Europe.
Family connections are evident in the band with Edward's son, R.C.'s son and grandson, along with Annie, Edward, and R.C. forming the core vocals. The band is further supported by skilled musicians displaying a subtle and sophisticated style.
Annie takes lead vocals on "Living in this World Alone," delivering soulful vocals over a strong backing. Edward and R.C. lead on other tracks, showcasing a diverse vocal range within the family trio.
