The rumour mill ramped up a notch on Thursday. Taylor Swift's new album, The Tortured Poets Department, hadn't even been released yet - though there were reports it had leaked - and speculation was rife around what it would reveal about Swift's intensely scrutinised romantic life.
Although it's her 11th album, it's the first to come out post break-up since Red in 2012. Swift split last year from her six-year relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn, who starred in the TV adaptation of Sally Rooney's Conversations with Friends.
