Each 140g vinyl copy of Moon Music will be made from nine plastic bottles recovered from consumer waste. Artwork from 70% recycled plastic stopped from entering the Atlantic Ocean.
Coldplay reduces carbon emissions by 85% compared to regular vinyl production, saving 25 tonnes of virgin plastic. CD copies made from 90% recycled plastic with 78% less emissions.
