The song "Star" incorporates a more industrial sound reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails' Year Zero, diverging from the atmospheric style of Ferry's earlier work.
In addition to Ferry's collaboration with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, newcomer Amelia Barratt joins the track, elevating it into a true duet.
