UFC 328 took place Saturday night in Newark, NJ, featuring middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev against Sean Strickland in a highly charged grudge match. Dana White described the rivalry as among the most intense he has experienced. Strickland made extreme allegations and threats, including claims that Chimaev was a terrorist and threats to shoot Chimaev’s crew if they attacked before the fight. Strickland has also been involved in prior controversy, including threats toward Dricus Du Plessis. Chimaev lost his composure at the press conference and threw a kick toward Strickland.
