I have been using every legislative tool at my disposal to hold the Mayor and her Administration accountable for real outcomes for our residents. This includes drafting new legislation to reduce bureaucracy and speed up Vision Zero construction projects. I have also held public hearings to determine the barriers to action, such as supporting Richmond’s older adults with stronger public safety initiatives and renovations at the Richmond Senior Center.
I have collaborated with the City Attorney and other departments to address issues around graffiti removal, building code violations, and small business permits.
