A pedestrian was struck and killed by a dump truck turning onto Parnassus Avenue, with the driver remaining on scene and cooperating with police.
Authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol were factors in the fatal collision, but they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the construction site.
