Joliet, the New Orleans-style seafood restaurant from operators Lost Boy & Co., has closed for good at 1209 17th St. in Miami Beach... the post said. 'We also want to thank our loyal guests and everyone who came out to support us. It has been a pleasure serving you and the local community.'
Chris Hudnall of Lost Boy & Co said that Joliet came about as a response to a lack of seafood restaurants on Miami Beach... 'Every new restaurant now seems to be Italian or sushi... But there wasn't really a restaurant that was seafood-heavy in this fashion.'
