In Oregon, some see the benefits of psychedelic treatment for mental health conditions

The new law, which was passed by Oregon voters in November 2020, legalizes the regulated medical use of psilocybin, the main psychoactive component in magic mushrooms, for individuals 21 years of age or older.
One center, known as the Oregon Psilocybin Society, plans to offer therapy sessions once regulations are finalized and licensed therapists are trained.
