FDA: Shellfish brought in from parts of West Coast found to contain toxins causing paralysis

Shellfish transported from Oregon and Washington to New York may contain unprecedented levels of paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP) toxins.
Symptoms of PSP include numbness of the mouth and lips, vomiting, diarrhea, shortness of breath, and irregular heartbeat.
