Former Republic of Ireland footballer Anthony Stokes was apprehended while driving recklessly in Dublin, recording speeds of 160kmh during a police pursuit, carrying nearly €4,000 worth of cocaine.
In court, Judge Grainne Malone postponed the sentencing until a treatment report could be provided, which will verify whether Stokes is drug-free, presenting a critical aspect of his case.
