Briefly

The Miami Marlins acquired right-handed pitcher Shaun Anderson from the Texas Rangers for cash considerations. Anderson, a 29-year-old Coral Springs native, has played for multiple MLB teams and began his career as a starter before transitioning to the bullpen.
Anderson had made two relief appearances with the Rangers this season, along with a successful stint at Triple-A Round Rock. The Marlins designated for assignment Woo-Suk Go to make room for Anderson on the 40-man roster.
