A tragic midair collision between two small-engine planes over Lancaster resulted in the death of one pilot while the other remained uninjured, according to officials.
Firefighters responded quickly to the incident, locating one downed plane at the intersection of 47th Street East and Avenue F, while a second was found at 60th Street East and Avenue G.
The exact cause of the crash remains unknown, with investigations still underway to determine the circumstances leading to this unfortunate event.
