A 34-year-old man, Lukas McClish, who was missing for nine days, was found in a heavily wooded area in Boulder Creek, California.
Deputies located McClish after receiving reports of someone yelling for help and used a drone to pinpoint his exact location.
Cal Fire and Fire Department crews assisted in bringing McClish to safety, with gratitude expressed for his return home.
The incident took place in Boulder Creek, which is approximately a 70-mile drive southeast of San Francisco.
