Former 'General Hospital' actor Johnny Wactor was fatally shot in downtown Los Angeles while interrupting a catalytic converter theft.
Wactor, 37, was leaving work when he saw someone near his car, initially thinking it was being towed. The suspect, wearing a mask, opened fire when approached.
Wactor's mother confirmed his death, and LAPD investigators stated three men were trying to steal his catalytic converter when the fatal shooting occurred.
