A young boy's body is found near dumpsters in Panorama City. Five people are detained for questioning

The body of a boy, approximately 5 or 6 years old, was discovered near dumpsters in Panorama City. The LAPD responded and initiated an investigation, with a social media post confirming the discovery. Following a tip, police detained five individuals connected to the case, including a man and a woman found at an apartment complex. The relationship between the adults and the boy remains unclear. While details on the cause of death are not yet released, residents held a vigil and left tributes at the site where the boy was found.

The boy was found in a parking lot near two dumpsters, and a white canopy was put over the body. Officers followed a tip to an apartment complex on Lanark Street, less than a mile from where the body was found.

Local residents held a vigil for the boy the same night that the adults were detained, with vigil attendees filming the adults being led away in handcuffs, while someone was heard screaming 'justice.'

A growing collection of toys, flowers and notes have been left in the parking lot where the boy was found, including messages such as 'Fly with the angels little guy.'
