A housing ombudsman report recorded years of failure to carry out essential social housing repairs and cited severe maladministration, including a boarded-up bedroom window for over three years and inappropriate housing for a severely disabled child. The leader took control in 2021 and later became chair of London Councils despite poor adult social care performance.
