Armed police flocked to a residential street after reports of an incident earlier today. The London Ambulance Service (LAS), supporting the Metropolitan Police, were called at 10.59am today to reports of an incident on Rosewood Avenue in Elm Park.
At least three Territorial Support Group vans were spotted in the area, sparking concerns that this was a major incident. The London Fire Brigade also confirmed that two fire engines, from Hornchurch and Dagenham stations, were sent to the road.
