Tube drivers could strike over Halloween after rejecting TfL's 70,000 pay offer
Briefly

Tube drivers are reportedly considering strike action over a rejected wage increase offer of £2,500, which would push the basic salary close to £70,000.
RMT's Mick Lynch supports a walkout due to TfL's failure to present a suitable pay offer, despite a proposed 3.8% salary rise.
The base salary of £67,100 for Tube drivers could rise to £69,600, but many drivers already earn over £70,000 with overtime.
TfL claims to have made a reasonable pay offer, along with improvements such as increased paternity leave, but the union insists it is inadequate.
