The whole idea behind the event is to raise awareness of cyclists on the road, curb car culture and protest the dependence on oil, and what better way to do so than getting your kit off.
If you want to show some skin then feel free but if you're feeling a little nervous about being nude, take advantage of the 'as bare as you dare' policy and go heavy on the body paint.
There are eight start points for this year's ride, with the ride finishing in Hyde Park, and a clothing-optional afterparty at Phantom Peak in Surrey Quays.
